Student Testimonials

'I'd love to try more of Jennifer Subrin's classes at the Comedy School of Cape Cod; she is such a fun, imaginative teacher! She makes teenagers feel really comfortable, even when they're trying out new things. I felt more confident after taking her Teen Improv Workshop. And I hope Ms. Subrin offers it again next summer!'

'Thank you for introducing me to something I absolutely had no idea about. As a visual artist I have always expressed my thoughts on paper now I am learning to express with my mind, voice and body. What a freeing experience this has been. Wellfleet is so lucky to have you.'

-Traci, Wellfleet

'This workshop was such a fun way to act with friends in a way I never have before. It challenged me to use more than just words to convey a storyline and taught me how to stay on my toes and work with someone to create a cohesive scene.'

-Kendall, age 16, Cape Cod

'This class has been a joy to participate in. Jennifer is a thoughtful and thorough teacher who approaches our sessions with professionalism and a great sense of humor. She not only gives us instruction on the technical aspects of long form improv but she also teaches us the value of being spontaneous, listening to what's unfolding and always supporting the group so that we can build stories together and inspire laughter. While there are always challenges in learning something new, Jennifer does a great job of creating a relaxed atmosphere where we can overcome our personal hurdles and have a great time on stage together. At just one hour per week the classes seem to fly by. I encourage anyone of any age to sign up. I personally can't wait for Level II!'

'Jennifer's Comedy Improv class has provided tools to use in all aspects of my life. Her teaching technique opens up parts of your brain and frees you to be spontaneous and funny without strategizing and trying too hard. Maybe if the world were all doing Jennifer's comedy class, a more funny light-hearted society could exist and inspire change in our global consciousness, by getting everyone to lighten up!'
